The Rajputana Tour of Rajasthan will take you to the Rajputana kingdom which is full of royalty and chivalry. In this tour, the major destinations of Rajasthan are explored along with Delhi and Agra, the gems of India. From the palaces to forts and deserts to bazaars, you will be mesmerized to see the major attractions of this tour.
Day 1: Arrival at Delhi
Upon your arrival, the Udaipur and Around representative will welcome you and escort you to the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay in Delhi.
Day 2: Delhi Sightseeing
Post breakfast, proceed for the sightseeing of Delhi. Explore Old Delhi to visit Jama Masjid and enjoy the Rickshaw Ride in Chandni Chowk. Later, proceed to discover the spectacular architecture of New Delhi – Humayun’s Tomb, Qutb Minar, India Gate and Secretariat buildings. Overnight stay in Delhi.
Day 3: Delhi – Agra and Agra Sightseeing
After breakfast at hotel, depart for Agra, a Mughal city. Get an assisted transfer to the hotel. After some relaxation, you can proceed for exploring Agra. Explore the Taj Mahal, a white marble monument which was built by Shah Jahan in the memory of his wife (Mumtaz). Another attraction is Agra Fort which was made by using red sandstones in Mughal style. Don’t forget to have Mughlai dishes and Agra ka Petha in the dinner. Overnight stay in Agra.
Day 4: Agra – Jaipur
In the morning, depart for Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. En route, stop at Abhaneri to explore the magnificent architecture of Step-Well. Further, proceed towards Jaipur and transfer to the hotel. You may explore Birla Temple, if time permits. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 5: Jaipur Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed for the sightseeing of Jaipur, the pink city. The tour starts with exploring the Amber fort, a UNESCO heritage site where a blend of Mughal and Hindu style of architecture can be witnessed. Later, explore the City Palace, a royal residence of past rulers. Other attractions are- Jantar Mantar, one of the largest observatories in India and Hawa Mahal or Palace of Winds which was built with 953 windows to allow the royal women to see outside being hidden to others. In the evening, you may enjoy shopping of handicrafts and souvenirs at local shops. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 6: Jaipur – Jodhpur
After having breakfast at the hotel, depart for Jodhpur. Jodhpur is also known as the ‘Blue City’ for its blue painted architectures in the city and ‘Sun City’ for its bright sunny weather throughout the year. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Spend time in treating yourself with the Rajasthani delicacies and interacting with locals to know more about Rajasthani culture. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.
Day 7: Jodhpur Sightseeing
After having breakfast at the hotel, proceed for the sightseeing which includes the major attractions- Mehrangarh Fort and Jaswant Thada. In the evening, stroll through the market around the Clock Tower. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.
Day 8: Jodhpur – Udaipur via Ranakpur
In the morning, depart for the last destination, Udaipur. En route, visit Ranakpur, which is famous for the stunning Jain Temple where you can experience spirituality and divinity. Further, continue towards Udaipur and transfer to the hotel followed by an overnight stay.
Day 9: Udaipur Sightseeing
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for the sightseeing in Udaipur. You will visit the City Palace- which is the most renowned site as it took 400 years to build. After that, you will experience the divinity at Jagdish Temple- a spiritual destination of Lord Laxmi Narayan. Later you will visit Fateh Sagar Lake- which is an artificial lake beautifully surrounded by hills and woods. This lake was named after Maharana Fateh Singh. The last attraction is Saheliyon ki Bari - which is an astonishing garden built for Maids of Honors where you can get a scenic view of fountains and pools. In the Evening, you will enjoy the Boat Ride at Lake Pichola which has a scenic view. Overnight stay at Udaipur.
Day 10: Udaipur – Pushkar via Ajmer
Post breakfast, depart for Pushkar and en route stop at Ajmer for sightseeing of Dargah Shariff and Adhai Din ka Jhopra. You may explore the Taragarh Fort. Further, continue towards Pushkar and get an assisted transfer to the hotel. In the late afternoon, proceed to explore Brahma Temple. In the evening, spend some time at Pushkar Lake which is surrounded by 52 ghats. Overnight stay in Pushkar.
Day 11: Pushkar – Delhi
In the morning, depart for Delhi and you will be dropped at Delhi Airport to board a flight for the onward destination.
