The Heritage Tour of Rajasthan lets you experience the historical monuments, cultural heritage and traditions of Rajasthan. Visit the major destinations of Rajasthan such as, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Bikaner and Jaisalmer. Along with this, explore a sacred town of Pushkar and the only hill station of Rajasthan that is Mount Abu in a span of 11 days.
Day 1: Arrival in Jaipur
Upon your arrival, the Udaipur and Around representative will welcome you and escort you to the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. You may explore Birla Temple, if time permits. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 2: Jaipur Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed for the sightseeing of Jaipur, the pink city. The tour starts with exploring the Amber fort, a UNESCO heritage site where a blend of Mughal and Hindu style of architecture can be witnessed. Later, explore the City Palace, a royal residence of past rulers. Other attractions are- Jantar Mantar, one of the largest observatories in India and Hawa Mahal or Palace of Winds which was built with 953 windows to allow the royal women to see outside being hidden to others. In the evening, you may enjoy shopping of handicrafts and souvenirs at local shops. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 3: Jaipur – Pushkar
Post breakfast, depart for Pushkar and en route stop at Ajmer for sightseeing of Dargah Shariff and Adhai din ka Jhopra. You may explore the Taragarh Fort. Further, continue towards Pushkar and get an assisted transfer to the hotel. In the late afternoon, proceed to explore Brahma Temple. In the evening, spend some time at Pushkar Lake which is surrounded by 52 ghats. Overnight stay in Pushkar.
Day 4: Pushkar – Udaipur
In the morning, depart for Udaipur. Transfer to the hotel and rest of the day is at your discretion. Overnight stay in Udaipur.
Day 5: Udaipur Sightseeing
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for the sightseeing in Udaipur. You will visit the City Palace- which is the most renowned site as it took 400 years to build. After that, you will experience the divinity at Jagdish Temple- a spiritual destination of Lord Laxmi Narayan. Later you will visit Fateh Sagar Lake- which is an artificial lake beautifully surrounded by hills and woods. This lake was named after Maharana Fateh Singh. The last attraction is Saheliyon ki Bari - which is an astonishing garden built for Maids of Honors where you can get a scenic view of fountains and pools. In the Evening, you will enjoy the Boat Ride at Lake Pichola which has a scenic view. Overnight stay at Udaipur.
Day 6: Udaipur- Mount Abu
In the morning, leave for Mount Abu, the only hill station of Rajasthan. Proceed for the check-ins at the hotel. Explore the Dilwara Temple, a Jain temple with majestic architecture. In the evening, enjoy the Boat Ride at Lake Pichola. Overnight stay in Mount Abu.
Day 7: Mount Abu- Ranakpur- Jodhpur
After having breakfast at the hotel, depart for Jodhpur. En route, visit Ranakpur, which is famous for the stunning Jain Temple where you can experience spirituality and divinity. Further continue towards Jodhpur and transfer to the hotel. In the evening, stroll through the market around the Clock Tower. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.
Day 8: Jodhpur – Jaisalmer
Jodhpur is also known as the ‘Blue City’ for its blue painted architectures in the city and ‘Sun City’ for its bright sunny weather throughout the year. After breakfast, proceed for Jodhpur Sightseeing which includes the major attractions- Mehrangarh Fort and Jaswant Thada. In the afternoon, depart for the golden city, Jaisalmer by car. Upon arrival in Jaisalmer, transfer to the hotel followed by an overnight stay.
Day 9: Jaisalmer Sightseeing
Post breakfast, proceed for sightseeing of Jaisalmer and explore the Jaisalmer Fort, the only live fort in the world where day-to-day activities are carried out within a fort. Experience the majestic architecture of havelis which are beautifully carved with intricate carvings. In the afternoon, drive towards Sam Sand Dunes for enjoying camel/jeep safari while watching the breathtaking views of the sunset. Return to Jaisalmer for overnight stay.
Day 10: Jaisalmer – Bikaner
In the morning, depart for Bikaner by car and get an assisted transfer to the hotel. Bikaner is known as the Camel Country. Explore the Junagarh Fort where you will be mesmerized to see its majestic architecture. Later, spend some time at National Research Centre on Camel. Here, you will see a large number of camels with different breeds. You can also enjoy shopping here. Overnight stay in Bikaner.
Day 11: Bikaner - Jaipur
Depart for Jaipur and you will be dropped at Jaipur Airport to board a flight for the onward destination., taking sweet memories of Heritage Tour of Rajasthan.
